At last a bit of good news. Tim's CT scan shows that the chemo has shrunk the tumor and metastases by almost 50% since this particular chemo treatment started in early January. There currently isn't a cure for pancreatic cancer, but just life-extending treatments. This buys us more time to enjoy life and hope for better treatment options. The next CT scan will be in 2 months, and we'll hope for even more shrinkage. Pancreatic cancer is a fast growing and aggressive cancer, but we hope Tim will be on the far right hand of the survival bell-curve.
Thanks for all the good wishes, prayers and support!
